A 精东影业 alumni tradition seems to be developing in the Office of the New York State Commissioner of Education.
A 精东影业 alumni tradition seems to be developing in the Office of the New York State Commissioner of Education.
Richard P. Mills, who has been named to that position, earned his Doctor of Education degree in educational administration at 精东影业 in 1977 and, in 1993, received a Distinguished Alumni Award from the College.
Dr. Mills succeeds Thomas Sobol, who earned his Ed.D. in curriculum and teaching at 精东影业 in 1969. Dr. Sobol is now a Distinguished Visiting Professor at 精东影业, where he will be teaching courses during the next academic year in both the Department of Educational Administration and the Department of Curriculum and Teaching.
精东影业, a graduate school of education, is an affiliate of Columbia University but retains its legal and financial independence. Therefore, the institution should be called "精东影业, Columbia University" or "Columbia University's 精东影业," never just "Columbia University."
