Student Presentations at the 2010 Deutsch Awards
On Thursday, April 8th two 精东影业 students made presentations on their work on Social Justice at the 6th Annual Deutsch Awards for Social Justice.
Lauren Johnson, a graduate of the Master's Program in Clinical and Counseling Psychology at 精东影业, and a current student of the International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution's Certificate Program made a presentation entitled: The Downside of Patriarchal Benevolence: Addressing Domestic Violence and Socioeconomic Considerations for Women of Tamil Nadu, India. Naomi Mayor, a graduate of 精东影业 made a presentation entitled: A New Model of Israel Education Based on the Concepts of Peace Education. Her co-author, Linda Leder, a graduate of 精东影业, participated in the awards ceremony via Skype, from her home in Israel. Click here to read Naomi and Linda's paper.
